Employee Self Service Portal

The Employee Self Service Portal is a powerful tool that helps decentralize the administrative functions needed to be performed by the HR department. It gives employees immediate access to critical information, with the ability to update and act upon transactions in the workplace, without having to go through the HR staff. An employee's access to information is based on company-defined security policies, and would typically be determined by the employee's position/job function in the organizational hierarchy.

The Employee Self Service Portal is a third optional component of SysforeHRMS. There are two deployment options available:

  • By subscription to and hosted by Sysfore on a SaaS based Model
  • An on-premise, company-owned and hosted ESSP

Features

An ESSP enables an employee to:
  • Access Company Directory of Employees (based on company-defined security policy)
  • Maintain/Update Personal Information such as educational qualifications, certifications, emergency contact information, etc.
  • View Pay slips
  • View Leave Balances, Initiate Leave Requests and view the status of these requests
  • Submit claims for Business Expense Reimbursements and view the status of these claims
  • Request for Company Letters
  • Request for Loans/Advances and view the status of these requests
  • View HR Alerts, News, Notices
  • View Document Repository (HR Documents, Forms, Manuals)

Benefits to HR Department Personnel:

  • Reduced workload in handling queries on Leave Balances, Request Approvals, Information requests, etc.
  • Automated system of approvals for standard business processes like Loan Requests, Expense Claim Reimbursements, etc.

  • As much of the administrative transaction processing is handled by the self service portal, HR personnel can focus on matters of strategic importance for the company.

Benefits to Company Management:

  • Since employees are provided with a self-service portal, they do not require direct access to the HRIS, thereby lowering cost of licenses for HRIS
